Wow Comebacks of TV Stars

Rajat Tokas (comeback in Jodha Akbar on Zee TV) -

He started his career when he was 15 and when he was just 17 years old he was a hit in Dharti ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan. Initially he was slated to do only few episodes but then the popularity of the character made the makers to increase his role and he went on to do a long inning. This role also got him many awards and then for almost five years he tried to get into films while at the same time did one episode cameos in TV too. However his next big ticket was his comeback as Akbar in Zee TV's magnum opus Jodha Akbar produced by Ekta Kapoor. Looking handsome and dashing, this young actor has quite a fan following.

Ulka Gupta (comeback in Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi on Zee TV) -

After making quite an impact as the young Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahaani Jhansi Ki Rani on Zee TV she returned to the same show as Kaali, a tribal woman. She gathered many awards and critical acclaim for her debut show and after which she decided to concentrate on her studies. Now she is back playing a role that fits her age (she is just 16 at present) in Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi. This bundle of talent plays the daughter to Gautami Gadgil and has to portray variety of emotions in the show for which she is already getting appreciation.

Sangeeta Ghosh (comeback in Kehta Hai Dil...Jee Le Zara on Sony TV) -

She has been acting since the age of 10 years as a child artiste. She scorched the TV screens in daily soaps like Mehendi Tere Naam Ki, Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand and Rabba Ishq Na Hove from 2002 to 2006. She shifted her focus to films but unfortunately her debut film Bhanvara produced and directed by Dharmesh Darshan in 2008 was never released. After a hush-hush wedding to a polo player based in Rajasthan, she completely given up her career till acting beckoned and she was back to the grease paint with a show which needed a mature actress in the lead role. Jee Le Zara on Sony TV is Sangeeta's comeback show and the actress who was once a sultry star is back in a no nonsense simple looking role which suits her current age too.

Gautami Kapoor (comeback in Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi on Zee TV) -

She started modelling at the age of 16, however coming from an academically inclined family she also completed her studies alongside till she got into television. Gautami was noticed for her sensitive portrayal in Ghar ek Mandir on Sony TV which was followed by other shows one of which was with Ram Kapoor and the couple got married soon after meeting. Now a mother of two kids, Gautami was seen doing bit roles in films and TV, however the much awaited good role was evading her till she heard the script for Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi for Zee TV. Playing a widow and mother to two young daughters, Gautami's comeback was much awaited by her fans.

Kanchi Kaul (comeback in Ek Nanad ki Chhabi - Meri Bhabhi on Star Plus) -

The beautiful actress, Kanchi Kaul got married to co-actor Shabbir Ahluwalia was out of frame for almost six years after gaining immense popularity in Ek Ladki Anjaani Si... She also played the main role of Bhabhi in a serial of the same name. Busy with her married life and also with her husband's production house Kanchi was back with Ek Nanad ki Chhabi - Meri Bhabhi. Playing the role of the Shraddha who comes back to her father's home after an unsuccessful marriage, Kanchi as the Nanad in this show, puts in an effortless performance and looks as pretty as ever!
